Sportmassage voor paarden heeft veel voordelen. Door een massage verbetert de spieropbouw, krijgt het paard meer bewegingsvrijheid, wordt bindweefsel opgerekt en gestrekt zodat verklevingen verdwijnen waardoor er minder snel spierkrampen ontstaan. Daarnaast stimuleert een sportmassage de circulatie van bloed- en lymfestelsel waardoor afvalstoffen sneller worden afgevoerd en er beter herstel is van spieren en gewrichten na het werk of na een blessure.
